Pop-up books are an incredible medium to work with, in that they require so few materials (paper, glue, pencils, and scissors or an x-acto blade), yet yield exciting results with an element of surprise. After basic techniques are introduced, the possibilities are quite endless and allow for open-ended explorations and thoughtful self-expression.
